Though he undoubtedly would disagree, Miley pitched poorly, allowing five runs in the first four innings, digging a hole that his offense could never quite escape.
TURNING POINT: The throwing error by Sandoval in the seventh led to a big unearned insurance run for the Orioles, enabling them to withstand the late-game solo homer from David Ortiz.
