Saturday's Red Sox-Cubs lineups: Pedroia hits sixth again; Wright vs. Lackey

Share

The Red Sox stick with the same lineup as they look to make it two in a row over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday afternoon (4:05) at Fenway Park.

Dustin Pedroia (2-for-3 with a walk Friday) is back in the sixth spot after hitting there for the first time in his career Friday night as the Red Sox used a five-run first to hold on for a 5-4 victory.

Knuckleballer Steven Wright (1-2, 8.66), still looking to regain his All-Star form from the first half of last season, is on the mound for Boston. Continuing the reunion theme of the weekend, he's opposed by old friend John Lackey (1-3, 4.88), the Red Sox' 2013 World Series hero traded in 2014 to the Cardinals in the deal that sent Joe Kelly and Allen Craig to Boston. Lackey signed with the Cubs last offseason.
