Although it may seem as if the Red Sox just stepped off the duck boats, spring training is just around the corner. With that in mind, the World Series champions released their spring training schedule on Thursday, which includes 17 games at JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Fort Myers, Fla.

The annual equipment truck departure is scheduled for Feb. 8 from Fenway Park. Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report Feb. 15, with position players reporting Feb. 18 and the first full squad workout set for Feb. 20. All workouts are open to the public free of charge.

Tickets for the spring training games are scheduled to go on sale on Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets at JetBlue Park, online at, and by phone at 888-REDSOX6. Fans who require ADA accessible seating may also call 877-REDSOX9. Hearing impaired fans may call the Red Sox TTY line at (617) 226-6644.

All day games at JetBlue Park are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. starts and all night games start at 7:05 p.m. Boston will open with two college exhibition games on Feb. 27, a 1:05 single-admission doubleheader, starting against Northeastern, followed by a game against Boston College.

The Red Sox launch their Grapefruit League schedule at JetBlue on Feb. 28 at 1:05 against the Minnesota Twins.
