Red Sox' Johnson unharmed after carjacking

Red Sox pitcher Brian Johnson was carjacked last Friday in Florida, according to a report from Florida Today.

The incident occurred in Cocoa Beach, as Johnson and some friends were at a convenience store around 2 a.m.

Johnson was unharmed.

According to police, Johnathan Oshaun Gould, 31, was arrested shortly later and charged with carjacking, aggravated assault, persons engaged in a criminal offense having weapons, possession a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and violation of felony probation.

The car did not belong to Johnson, but one of his friends, Thomas Carrigan, who was also in the car.

Carrigan told police a man approached them and demanded the keys with a gun.

Once he was given them, he fired a shot at the ground and took off in the car, only to arrested later after a car chase.
