McAdam: Could Red Sox and Mets be trade partners?

The Boston Red Sox and New York Mets don't have a whole lot in common as they head into this weekend's series at Citi Field.

The Mets are making a push for the playoffs while the Red Sox sit in last place in the AL East.

But Red Sox Insider Sean McAdam explain why the two clubs could potentially get together to make a deal this offseason.

"The Red Sox, we know, will be in the market for starting pitching and Dave Dombrowski likes to trade," said Red Sox Insider Sean McAdam. "The New York Mets may have the best stable of young Major League arms of any team in baseball.

"The Red Sox have some prospects that could move. Might that mean a match between those two teams? Could very well be. Stay tuned."
