There was a bit of a stir in camp Saturday with the arrival of former Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Manziel.

Manziel has entered into a partnership with LRMR, the marketing company run by LeBron James and his business partner Maverick Carter, which in turn has a relationship with Fenway Sports Management (FSM), the Red Sox' marketing arm.

Manziel, surrounded by a small army of publicists and handlers, watched the Red Sox go through a morning workout. Manziel wore a Red Sox jersey with the No. 2 -- formerly the uniform of Jacoby Ellsbury, now worn by Xander Bogaerts.

The former Texas A&M standout signed autographs by some fans on hand and posed for picture with some Red Sox players, including Red Sox farmhand Mookie Betts.

He declined to answer questions from a group of reporters.
