Gasper: Red Sox should be geared toward '16

The Boston Red Sox showed signs of life prior to the All-Star break, but things haven't exactly gone their way since the second half started.

With the club dropping the series to the Angels and falling back  in the A.L. East, Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe thinks it's time for the Red Sox to start focusing on 2016.

"They were on life support, you might as well pull the plug," said Gasper. "The question is moving forward, what do you do? To me it's all about 2016. Any move they make should be geared toward getting the team back on track and into contention in 2016."
