Our Arbella Early Edition crew give their picks for the best non-draft acquisitions of the past 25 years.

The Patriots landing Darrelle Revis has Gary Tanguay and Dan Shaughnessy ranking Boston's biggest acquisitions, via trade or free agency, of the past 25 years.

Shaugnessy's No. 1? The Boston Globe columnist said it's Manny Ramirez.

"So many choices here," Shaughnessy said on Arbella Early Edition. "[Manny] made good on an eight-year, $160 millon deal. Two World Series championships. In the history of baseball, very few of those big-money deals came home."

Tanguay's choice? Manny's teammate, Pedro Martinez.

"I was at Logan Airport when Pedro Martinez arrived from Montreal," Tanguay recalled. "Sure, he wanst the guy in the World Series [in 2004] he had been. But before Pedro, it had been Jack Clark or Matt Young...Even Danny Cater for Sparky Lyle."

Let us know your pick.
