In Wednesday night's 5-4 loss to the New York Yankees, tempers continued to flare.
Alfredo Aceves was removed from the game in the seventh after surrendering a two-run home run to Curtis Granderson. Instead of handing the ball to Bobby Valentine, Aceves gave it to Jarrod Saltalamacchia and then left the mound off of the back, avoiding Valentine.
Bobby V said before the game Thursday that he has no plans to punish Aceves, who has already been suspended once this season.
