Looking back on the last week, 3 Up, 3 Down takes a look at the state of the Red Sox.

THREE UP

Dustin Pedroia

The second baseman was the Red Sox most productive hitter this past week hitting 409.

Xander Bogaerts

Before Saturday's game, Xander Bogaerts has hit safely in the previous six games. The 21-year-old has also returned to shortstop after Stephen Drew was traded.

Anthony Ranaudo

Anthony Ranaudo got the win in his Major League debut against the New York Yankees. He even struck out his boyhood hero, Derek Jeter.

THREE DOWN

Brock Holt

The super-utility man had a rough week at the plate. Holt hit just .130 with five strikeouts.

Jackie Bradley Jr.

The Red Sox center fielder managed only one hit in his last 17 at bats before Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Clay Buchholz

The veteran pitcher got hit hard in his last start against the Toronto Blue Jays. Buchholz allowed seven earned runs in just five innings.
