The 2014 NBA Draft is looking to be a hot topic of conversation throughout this young NBA season with the likes of Julius Randle, Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins.

Now that the college basketball season is underway, Tim Welsh joined Gary Tanguay on UNO'S Sports Tonight to size up the 2014 NBA Draft class.

Although there has been a lot of talk about Andrew Wiggins, Welsh believes another player possesses a larger upside than the Kansas Freshman.

"I like (Julius) Randle, I think Randle has the biggest upside because he's got the huge body." explained Welsh, "He's got the Karl Malone-type game who can come out and face, almost like a young Lamar Odom, where he can handle the ball for a big guy, but he's got the power game around the basket like a Malone."

As for Wiggins and the rest of the draft, Welsh wants to see more.

"Wiggins, I've heard from Tracy McGrady to Kobe Bryant." added Welsh, "Let's see how it plays out.  They all need to work on their body, and see how this year plays out.

"I think they're all potential future all stars. There's about five great players right now in the draft.  I agree with Danny (Ainge)I don't think that it's this deep, unbelievable draft where sixth through fourteen is that special.  But the top five could be game changers for sure."
