Gerald Wallace drew a $10,000 fine from the NBA for using obscenities in his postgame interview after the Celtics were blown out in Houston.
After another loss Wednesday in San Antonio, this one closer than the 104-93 score indicated, Wallace wasn't swearing.
"At the end of the day, I think it's a win for us because we fought back from an embarrassment in Houston and showed we could hang in with one of the better teams in the league," Wallace said.
"We're still young, we're still learning. We played a veteran team that takes advantage of mistakes," Wallace said, adding that the Spurs were able to pull away in the third-quarter because they were better rested than a Celtics team playing back-to-back nights.
