BOSTON — Aside from a litany of Hall-of-Fame worthy honors, Kevin Garnett is best known for his loquacious trash talk.

And those who know him best like former Celtics teammates, they expect to get an earful as Garnett and the Nets tangle tonight with Garnett and Pierce traveling back to Boston to play in the TD Garden for the first time since they were traded this past summer.

Jared Sullinger recalls many practices from a year ago where the voice that resonated above others belonging to Garnett.

As far as the trash talking, the Celtics got another chance.

"Just like I played against Perk (Friday) night," Rondo said. "It might be a lot of ... talking, but it'll be fun. They're competitive. They compete and I do the same."

Garnett is especially hard on young big men like Sullinger who is looking forward to the verbal sparring match.

"It's going to be funny," Sullinger said. "It's going to be funny. But at the same time it'll be good experience playing against him. With referees, playing with him is 10 times harder because he got away with a lots of things that  out a win."
