If you win a gold medal at the Olympics, of course, your next move is to sit courtside at Celtics-Hawks at TD Garden.

That's where CSNNE Celtics sideline reporter ran into US skier Ted Ligety, who added the giant slalom gold in Sochi last week to the gold medal he won at the 2006 Turin Games.

"It's awesome to get another gold medal," Ligety said. "This one is especially special because there was so much pressure I was one of the big favorites. It's not always that easy when there's that kind of pressure."

And where does he keep the medals? Mother knows best.

"My mom takes care of them," he said. "She doesn't trust me with them."
