BOSTON — Before fans started to pile into the TD Garden for tonight's game between the Boston Celtics and the Portland Trail Blazers, Jared Sullinger could be found hanging on the rim.

Yup, that bone bruise on his right knee is feeling better - a lot better.

And that's why the 6-foot-9 forward will be in the Celtics' lineup tonight against the Blazers after missing Boston's loss to Charlotte on Wednesday.

With Sullinger, the Celtics have arguably their best scorer around the basket.

That'll come in handy against a Portland team that has an around-the-basket scoring tandem in LaMarcus Aldridge and Robin Lopez who have been instrumental in Portland coming into tonight's game with a four-game winning streak.

Having Sullinger affords Boston an opportunity to get points around the basket as well, and potentially get Portland's bigs in foul trouble.

But the Blazers are proving to be more than just an inside scoring team, evident by their 3-point shooting this season which ranks among the best in the league.

"For the coaches, just being around the players longer and for our players, just playing with each other more, it's really helped us," Blazers coach Terry Stotts told CSNNE.com. "We still have areas that we can get better in, obviously. But we are doing some good things now that's helping us be successful."
