The Celtics are 0-13 on the road against Western Conference teams, including a winless Western trip after the All-Star break as February drew to a close.

On Celtics Insider, Abby Chin asked Celtics coach Brad Stevens about why his team has struggled out West.

"First of all, the West is really good," Stevens said. "At the end of the day, the West is better than the East. You have Indiana and Miami in the East who have started the season playing really well. Out West, beyond just the top couple of teams, you can talk about six to eight who are in contention for not only playoffs but can make a run at the Western Conference Finals."

The Celtics were competitive in the first three games on the recent trip. Then came their final game in Utah.

"Utah was the last game of the Western trip that I've been told about," the first-year Celtics coach said. "If I went through the games and listed how we played, it probably wouldn't be as bad as 0-13 but nonetheless it is 0-13 and that's no fun."
