In the "Off The Court" segment of Celtics Insider, Celtics coach Brad Stevens and C's sideline reporter Abby Chin talk a little baseball now that spring training is here.

Stevens grew up a Cubs fan, but has another new favorite baseball team. Any guesses?

"We've taken in the Red Sox as a new favorite team in the American League," Stevens said.

With their three World Series victories in the past 10 years, the Sox no longer share a tortured past with the Cubs.

"It's easy to be a Red Sox fan," Stevens said. "What draws me to them is the environments. Wrigley Field, Fenway Park. Where I came from at Butler, Hinkle Fieldhouse. Those historic venues add a flavor to those organizations."

Stevens hasn't met Red Sox manager John Farrell, but has met Bruins coach Claude Julien, since the C's share TD Garden with the B's.

"I've shared texts with [Patriots] coach [Bill] Belichick, who's a guy I can't wait to meet," he said. "But I have yet to meet coach Farrell."

He then quickly corrected himself, "Manager Farrell."
