With the Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly trying to pry Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves, things could continue to get interesting in the East.
If they add Kevin Love, does that immediately make them the best team in the Eastern Conference?
Bob Ryan sees rookie Andrew Wiggins as the wild card in the equation.
"For me, that makes them the best team in the East," said Ryan. "I think they could still be already. We don't know how Wiggins is going to be, for example. If he's not sacrificed to get Love. He could be terrific, I don't know."
If the Cavs have a chance to land Love, A. Sherrod Blakely believes they should do it.
"Unless Cleveland is willing to give up Wiggins," said Blakely. "They're going to have to give him up for Kevin Love. Even if they have to, that's a sacrifice they should be willing to make. When you look at Kevin Love's game, how it would mesh with LeBron's and Kyrie Irving. Those three, thats a three-headed monster that could beat any team in the NBA. Not just the East. I think those three can be the key to them getting past San Antonio."
