The tight-knit duo of Rajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins are teaming up again this summer. This time, Rondo is supporting Perkins community events in his home state of Texas.

On Thursday, Rondo will join Perkins at an autograph signing at the Mid County Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Port Arthur from 6-8 p.m. to help raise money for the Port Arthur Lincoln Alumni Organization. Twenty percent of the restaurants proceeds collected during the meet-and-greet will be donated to the L.H.S. Mass Reunion.

Lincoln High School alumnuscurrent Milwaukee Buck Stephen Jackson and Perkins Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kevin Durant are also expected to be there.

Perkins, who attended Clifton J. Ozen High School in nearby Beaumont, has ties to Lincoln High School through his high school basketball coach, Andre Boutte. Prior to working at Ozen, Boutte coached Jackson on the Lincoln basketball team.

The following day, Perkins will host a celebrity basketball game at Ozen High School at 1:00 p.m. Rondo is slated to participate in the game, along with Jackson and the Thunders Durant, James Harden, and Eric Maynor. The game will wrap up Perkins second annual basketball camp held in his hometown.
