Rajon Rondo, Celtics television analyst.
The C's point guard can add that to his resume after Monday night, when he joins play-by-play man Mike Gorman to call the Celtics-Bulls matchup in Chicago.
It's the second half of back-to-back games and the still-recovering-after-knee-surgery Rondo has been skipping those. So, instead of sitting on the bench, he'll still be courtside, but with a headset on helping out on Comcast SportsNet New England's telecast.
After the Celtics' game on Wednesday, Rondo said he'll have a role model in mind when get gets behind the mike.
"I've been practicing, prepping. I'll probably go home tonight and get my notes together," Rondo said. "I'm gonna be just like Tommy."
Rondo said in his years in Boston he's grown to appreciate the work of Gorman and Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn.
"One night I was watching a replay of the game and I was fascinated by how good Mike is and how good Mike and Tommy are," he said.
