PHILADELPHIA – Rajon Rondo will return to the Boston Celtics lineup tonight after missing the last two games, both Celtics victories, because of a left shin injury.

"Just rest is the key," Rondo told Comcast SportsNet's Abby Chin prior to tonight's tip-off against Philadelphia. "When I plant or when I land on my left leg, that's where it bothers me. It's gotten better as far as the pressure and how it feels once I land on it."

With Rondo out the last two games, the Celtics (25-55) have strung together back-to-back wins for the first time since early March.

A key to Boston's success in the last two games has been the play of Rondo's replacement, Phil Pressey.

The 5-foot-11 rookie has averaged 9.5 points and 13 assists in the two wins while tallying an average of just three turnovers.

And as a starter, Pressey is 6-4 this season.

However, there's no point guard controversy heading into the offseason - not yet, anyway.

"I'm just trying to help our team in any way I can, when I get out there," Pressey told "Rondo's one of the best point guards in the NBA that I've learned a lot from, and I'm still learning from him."
