Paul Pierce tweeted about coming back for one more run at it in the NBA.
That run is going to be a little different, Pierce, the ex-Celtics captain, jumped from Brooklyn to Washington this summer, joining a Wizards team that could/should be a top four team in the East.At the end of last season, with a healthy Nene, the Wizards were the third-best team in the East, John Wall and Bradley Beal had taken big steps forward, and this was a pretty good team.
Pierce will start at the three but split time pretty evenly with Otto Porter (who looked improved and ready for the extra minutes at Summer League). If everyone can stay healthy this is a Wizards team with a nice mix of youth and experience that would do a little damage starting in late April.
