BOSTON – As expected, the Boston Celtics leading scorer Isaiah Thomas was officially named to the Eastern Conference’s all-star roster Thursday night.
Thomas, a first-time all-star who leads the Celtics with 21.6 points per game, was among the seven Eastern Conference reserves voted into the game by the league’s coaches.
Joining Thomas among East reserves are the following players:
· Jimmy Butler, G/F, Chicago Bulls
· DeMar DeRozan, G, Toronto Raptors
· Paul Millsap, F, Atlanta Hawks
· Andre Drummond, C, Detroit Pistons
· Chris Bosh, F/C, Miami Heat
· John Wall, G, Washington Wizards
The following players were chosen as all-star reserves in the Western Conference:
· Draymond Green, F, Golden State Warriors
· James Harden, G, Houston Rockets
· Chris Paul, G, Los Angeles Clippers
· Klay Thompson, G, Golden State Warriors
· Anthony Davis, F/C, New Orleans Pelicans
· DeMarcus Cousins, F/C, Sacramento Kings
· LaMarcus Aldridge, F, San Antonio Spurs
