After spending one season with the Celtics, Kris Humphries is still out there on the free agent market.
“I could definitely see it,” said Humphries. “My agent handles most of the stuff with free agency. We’ll see what happens. I definitely could see it. I played out last year and didn’t look to jump to a playoff team before the end of the year, so I definitely enjoyed my time there, and we’ll see what happens.”
Humphries was part of the deal that sent Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Brooklyn Nets.
“When I first went there, I never thought I’d ever play in Boston,” he said. “That was like the last place where I ever thought I’d be putting on a jersey, but the fans were great. They embraced you if you played hard, and the coaching staff and everyone was awesome.”
The 29-year-old averaged 8.4 points with 5.9 rebounds a game during his one and only season with the Celtics.
