Jeff Green was quick to thank his teammates and his coach after his off-balance 3-pointer at the buzzer gave the Celtics an improbable 111-110 victory over the two-time defending champion Heat in Miami on Saturday night.

"Gerald [Wallace] made a great pass. Kelly [Olynyk] set a great screen. I was able to get a great look...and it went in," Green told CSNNE Celtics sideline reporter Abby Chin just after hitting the shot.

"I was shooting well tonight. It was one of those nights I wanted the ball and Gerald found me," Green said. Green scored 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as the Celtics extended their winning streak to three.

There was 0.6 seconds left on the clock when Gerald Wallace looped a pass over the outstretched arm of the Heat's Chris Bosh.

In the corner, Green was able to catch the pass, stay in bounds and get his 3-pointer over LeBron James as time expired.

The referees reviewed a replay of the shot on video and confirmed that Green got it off in time and was in bounds.

And what did coach Brad Stevens tell Green after he hit the biggest shot of the young season for the Celtics?

"Great shot," Green said. "I thank him for drawing up the play.
