Former escort Katina Powell alleges in the book, “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen,” that there were numerous parties on the University of Louisville campus involving strippers and “side deals” which reportedly was a euphemism for paid sex.
This is the second sex scandal with ties to Rick Pitino in the last six years. Will this one cost him his job?
No matter how the story is spun, John Feinstein of the Washington Post doesn't think it looks good for Pitino.
“If Pitino knew, obviously he has to be fired,” said Feinstein. “If he didn’t know, I still think he probably has to step down because this is such an embarrassment for him and for the University of Louisville.”
