BOSTON — Vitor Faverani said he feels "100 percent" better after practicing with the Boston Celtics on Friday.

Faverani, who had 15 points, seven rebounds and six blocked shots against Brooklyn on Wednesday, was unable to practice on Thursday because of lower back pain.

The 6-foot-11 center said the pain stems from hits he has taken to his lower back by opponents.

He has been receiving various treatments by the Celtics strength and conditioning staff such as massage therapy and ice, in addition to stretching.

When Faverani was on the sideline during Boston's 101-97 win over Brooklyn, he would lie on the floor, flat on his stomach, near the Celtics bench.

"Stretching is very important for me," he said. "I feel good."

Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said Faverani is expected to be healthy enough to participate in the team's next practice on Monday.
