Ex-Celtics find jobs: Zeller in Brooklyn, Tony Allen in New Orleans

A couple years ago, Tyler Zeller was a regular part of the Celtics rotation, and while his game had slipped as of Monday morning he still was one of PBT’s 10 best free agents still on the market.

Reports: Knicks trade Carmelo Anthony to Thunder for two players and a pick

The New York Knicks have traded Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a second-round draft pick, according to multiple reports.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN was first with the news of the deal.

The Thunder add Anthony, 33, and Paul George, acquired in a trade this summer with the Indiana Pacers,  to a perennial Western Conference playoff team led by last season's NBA MVP Russell Westbrook.

The pick going to New York is a 2018 second-rounder via the Chicago Bulls. Anthony waived his no-trade clause to agree to deal, after being convinced to do so by Westbrook and George, Wojnarowski reports.
