The Celtics and Washington Wizards officially announced the Kris Humphries sign-and-trade deal on Saturday.

The power forward agreed to a three-year, $13 million deal in joining Washington and the Celtics acquired a protected 2015 second-round pick and the $4.3 million trade exception the Wizards earned from Trevor Ariza's sign-and-trade with the Houston Rockets.

Humphries, 29, averaged 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 19.9 minutes in 69 games (30 starts) with the Celtics last season after coming from the Brooklyn Nets as part of the Paul Pierce-Kevin Garnett deal.

The Wizards are his sixth NBA team (Jazz, Raptors, Mavericks, Nets, Celtics). He joins ex-Celtic captain Pierce in Washington.
