Celtics announce preseason schedule

The Boston Celtics today announced their 2011 preseason schedule, which will open on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics will conclude the preseason against the New Jersey Nets at the TD Garden on Wednesday, October 26.

That is, if there is a preseason at all.

The eight game line-up also includes contests against the remaining Atlantic Division foes New York and Toronto. The Celtics will take on the New York Knicks at the XL Center in Hartford, CT on Saturday, October 22 and will host the Toronto Raptors at the TD Garden on Friday, October 21.
