WALTHAM, Mass. — In a season of constant change, the Boston Celtics will have some semblance of normalcy on Sunday with the return of Avery Bradley to the lineup.

Bradley, who has started all 43 games he has played in this season, has been out the last five games with a sprained ankle.

Not only is Bradley expected back on Sunday, but he'll be joined by Rajon Rondo whose start to the season came shortly before Bradley's injury which occurred early in Boston's 93-86 loss at Miami.

With so many lineup fluctuations due to injuries or guys simply not playing well, a Rondo-Bradley backcourt provides the kind of stability that has been missing with this team all season.

"He's a great point guard," Bradley said of Rondo. "I'm pretty sure everybody on this team loves playing with him. I can't wait to get back on the court with him."

Said Rondo: "I'm always excited to play with Avery. He's a great competitor. He's going to compete every possession on the floor. He always accepts the challenge."

The two have played in just three games together, although the last game - the loss at Miami on Jan. 21 -  saw Bradley play just seven minutes before suffering his injury.

However, Rondo doesn't believe it will take much time for them to get back on the same page.

"We have great chemistry," Rondo said. "We've been together for a couple years, especially when he was inserted into the starting lineup. He knows where to get the ball, he knows where to cut; we got a good feel for each other.

Rondo added, "it comes back pretty quickly. I know his game, and he knows mine."
