Share This Post Celtics insider A. Sherrod Blakely joins "SportsNet Central" to discuss Kris Humphries adjusting and getting excited about being a Celtic.

Humphries was part of the blockbuster deal with the Brooklyn Nets that shipped Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce out of Boston. Ex-Net Gerald Wallace still hasn't shown up in Boston. Humphries seems less than enthused about the deal at his introductory C's press conference.

"I'd been in New Jersey for three years," Humphries said. "I didn't think I would end up in Boston. Now, I like it. I'm excited."

Humphries admits at first it was a shock.

"It took a minute," he said. "I'm not going to sit here and say it felt great right away."

Blakely points out that while Humphries was closer to winning in Brooklyn, he might get more of an opportunity to play in Boston.

As for Wallace, Blakely says all reports say he's a laid-back guy who likes to take his time doing things, including reporting to his new team.
