Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while thoroughly unimpressed with Pokemon Go, other than its ability to completely sidetrack the Millennial generation as a bright, shiny object of distraction while racking up data charges on their phones.

*Good CSN buddy Chuck Gormley had this piece on the Capitals being interested in Boston College forward Zach Sanford just minutes before Washington signed him to an entry level deal.

*Bobby Orr believes that the NHL has become too dangerous because of the size and speed of the players, and the NHL GOAT wants the red line reintroduced to play.

*In the interest of self-promotion, here’s my radio hit with FOH (Friend of Haggs) Bob Stauffer in Edmonton yesterday talking the NHL, the Bruins and the Oilers.

*The Nashville Predators have yet to address the Pekka Rinne question, according to Travis Yost.

*NHL.com provides their “reset analysis” for the Boston Bruins as teams ready for captain’s practice next month.

*Here are five rookie NHL players that could challenge Auston Matthews for the Calder Trophy this season after last year proved it’s not a birthright for the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

*For something completely different: I think it’s time to get the adults out of the outfield during the home run derby.
