Tuesday, Feb. 14: Habs one move away? Stars' Ruff road

Share

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading, while amazed that pitchers and catchers are already reporting to spring training.

*TSN’s “Like it, Don’t Like it” tackles a number of NHL-related issues including the Habs being one move away from East prominence, and the Stars potentially moving from Lindy Ruff after this season.

*Good piece by Bob McKenzie talking about referee Wes McCauley and his great penalty call after the Andrew Shaw/Torey Krug fight from Sunday night that went viral across the Internet.

*It seems there is another NHL relocation story cropping up every other day, so Sean McIndoe tries to keep track of them all. Good luck with that.

*PHT writer Joey Alfieri has Ottawa Senators GM Pierre Dorion showing a lot of resistance to giving up what it will take to make a deal with the Colorado Avalanche.

*Speaking of the Avs, FOH (Friend of Haggs) Adrian Dater spends a podcast with Eklund poring through the rumors and trade speculation.

*In the TSN rumor round-up, Alex Burrows said he’s only watching and reading ESPN for his sports updates because he essentially thinks there won’t be much NHL trade rumor content there.

*Elliotte Friedman has his 30 thoughts for the week including some potential landing spots for Matt Duchene and Gabriel Landeskog.

*For something completely different: another fun spoof with Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon getting the Maury Povich treatment.
