Tonight's lineups: Betts returns, batting leadoff

The Boston Red Sox’ lineup will get a boost tonight with the return of Mookie Betts.

Betts was activated from the seven-day disabled list and will hit leadoff. Prior to suffering a concussion on July 28. Betts was hitting .265 with 10 home runs and 16 RBI. With Betts back patrolling center, Jackie Bradley Jr. will shift to left field.

The Red Sox also announced John Farrell had hernia surgery yesterday in Detroit, but is en route to Miami for tonight’s game against the Marlins.
