For the fifth time in the last six seasons, the Bruins are moving on to the second round of the playoffs.

The Bruins got two power play goals, the latter securing the game and the series.

"That was a huge goal by [Chara]," says Shawn Thornton. "I think the guys really fed off that..."

The B's will now face their long-time rivals, the Canadiens. These two teams have a long history, and it's filled with years and years of intense distaste for one another.

"It’s the playoffs, I love it" says Thornton. "The more intense, the better. We played them a lot in the past seven years that I’ve been here in the playoffs and it’s always fun for the fans, it’s fun for the people in both cities. I say embrace it."

Bruins fans could embrace the idea of their team continuing their march through the playoffs.
