Tim Thomas was the first goaltender off the ice for the Bruins at Thursdays morning skate, and looks like hell get his second start of the preseason against the Ottawa Senators tonight. Sens goalie Craig Anderson is expected to play the full 60 minutes for Ottawa as well, so we should be getting pretty close to what the finished Black and Gold product will look like on the ice.

Thomas played 82 games in the regular season and playoffs last year, and was perfectly okay with sitting out much of the preseason action heading into tonight.

I think I got enough games in last year. I think Ive been building and I feel like Ive been getting stronger and stronger as camp goes along, said Thomas. Im making progress to be where I want to be next Thursday.

Here are the linedefensemen combos from Thursdays skate:

Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Marchand-Bergeron-Peverley
Pouliot-Kelly-Caron
Paille-Campbell-Clark
MacDermidSauve-Seguin-Thornton

Chara-Kampfer
Seidenberg-Boychuk
Ference-Corvo
Bartkowski-McQuaid

Thomas
Rask
Khudobin

Tyler Seguin, Shawn Thornton, Lane MacDermid, Max Sauve, Dennis Seidenberg, Johnny Boychuk, and Anton Khudobin all remained out on the ice after the morning skate, and will be the healthy scratches for tonight.
