Tim Thomas hasnt been quite himself since the All-Star break, but gave everyone some proof that hes still got plenty left in the tank when he started down Martin Brodeur on Tuesday night. Thomas made 30 saves including a couple of show-stopping glove stops on Ilya Kovalchuk to notch his 30th win of the season, and enjoyed some improved defensive play in front of him as well. Cam Neely went on 98.5 the Sports Hub and basically said that the playoff goaltending gig was up for grabs to the guy that wanted it more, and Thomas made a pretty resounding statement.
