BOSTON – The Bruins will be looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season, and their first time losing three straight games in regulation since March 10-15, 2012, as they play host to the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.

Niklas Svedberg was the first goalie onto the ice for the Bruins and will make his NHL debut, backed up by Tuukka Rask, for the first Nordic goaltending duo for the B's in quite some time.

Marek Mazanec was the first goalie onto the ice for the Predators, and will be looking to atone the Dec. 23 game that saw him get yanked early in the 6-2 loss to the Black and Gold.

Otherwise, Dougie Hamilton gets the nod in the top defenseman pairing with Zdeno Chara as the Bruins begin looking at possible replacements for Dennis Seidenberg’s shutdown spot, once the playoffs are within reach. Here are the line combinations and D-pairings based on the pregame warm-up in the first of five games against mighty Western Conference opponents:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
Marchand-Bergeron-Smith
Soderberg-Spooner-Fraser
Paille-Campbell-Caron

Chara-Hamilton
Bartkowski-Boychuk
Krug-McQuaid
