The Bruins will be without Johnny Boychuk and Adam McQuaid against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and that means a heavy challenge to a defense corps that’s battled through plenty of adversity already this season. Rookie Kevan Miller will be in for his fourth game with the Black and Gold, and once again Dougie Hamilton will be pushed into a shutdown role with Zdeno Chara that should be a big challenge against the offensively loaded Penguins.

As expected, Tuukka Rask and Marc-Andre Fleury are the two goaltenders in the Eastern Conference showdown, with Rask coming off a disappointing loss to the Canadiens and Fleury hot off a 44-save performance against the San Jose Sharks in a lopsided wins for the Pens. Rask is 2-5-0 with a 2.73 goals against average and .903 save percentage in seven games vs. the Penguins while MAF is 11-5-3 with a 2.27 GAA and .924 save percentage in 20 career games vs. Boston.
