DETROIT-- The Bruins will feature the same lineup for Game 4 that they had in their 4-1 victory in Game 3, but fourth-line winger Daniel Paille is “inching forward” to a return to the lineup.

Paille was on the ice for regular morning skate on Thursday morning at Joe Louis Arena, but Jordan Caron continued to skate in his spot on the fourth line. Paille was taking the minimal contact one might absorb during morning skate, and thereby passing another hurdle on the way back to a full return to the Boston lineup.

“Daniel Paille has still not been cleared to play,” said coach Claude Julien. “He’s inching forward toward the right side.”

Otherwise it was the same lineup for the Black and Gold. Chris Kelly continues to remain off the ice with a back injury that’s kept him from skating since April 8, and both Dennis Seidenberg and Adam McQuaid skated separately from the team once morning skate had concluded. Tuukka Rask was obviously the first goalie off the ice, and Matt Bartkowski should get his second straight playoff game with Andrej Meszaros and Corey Potter as the only healthy scratches for the Black and Gold.

Here are the forward combos and D-pairings based on the morning skate:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla

Marchand-Bergeron-Smith

Florek-Soderberg-Eriksson

Caron-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Hamilton

Bartkowski-Boychuk

Krug-Miller

Rask
