*Bruce Arthur wonders about the time-honored stereotype that hockey players are tougher than basketball players in the wake of the Rich Peverley incident. It’s an interesting column, but let’s face it: hockey players are tougher than basketball players. They just are.

*The new “Dream Team” for Hockey Night in Canada starts next season for Rogers Sportsnet, and thankfully both Ron MacLean and Don Cherry are still heavy in the plans.
