McQuaid back with the Bruins

BOSTON -- Adam McQuaid reunited with the Bruins in Boston onTuesday morning after heading back to Prince Edward Island over the weekend toattend his grandmother's funeral services. The 6-foot-5, 209-pounddefenseman missed Monday nights game in Carolina in order to be with hisfamily, but skated during a sparsely attended morning skate at TD Garden priorto a Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils. McQuaid, Jordan Caron, Jay Pandolfo and Lane MacDermid werethe only players that skated on the ice while the rest of the Bruins tookto off-ice workouts. Claude Julien was non-committal about McQuaidsavailability for the Devils game, but it would be surprising if he werent backin the lineup. McQuaid is available, hes skating this morning, so wellsee where he is after morning skate, said Julien. Well make a decisiontoday, before the game.Aaron Johnson skated 11:29 of ice time on 19 shifts in the5-3 victory over the Canes and finished with a blocked shot along with aminus-1 rating while filling in for McQuaid and skating with Andrew Ference. McQuaid is averaging 14:31 of ice time in four games thisfar this season with a plus-1 and scoreless stat line while his rugged style ofplay has led to 11 PIMs in the barely week old season. The lines are expected to be the same on Tuesday night as theywere on Monday night with the addition of McQuaid to the lineup and TuukkaRask back between the pipes after Mondays night off:Lucic-Krejci-Horton
