BOSTON – The Bruins should be taking the same combinations into Game 5 Saturday night as they did successfully Thursday night in their Game 4 overtime victory at the Bell Centre, and with very good reason.
Matt Fraser scored the winner in overtime, the B’s reunited fourth line really found its way in the second period and Matt Bartkowski held his own after drawing back against the Habs.
Clearly, the Bruins want to be even better than they were in Game 4 when the top Krejci line once again had trouble generating offense, but one gets the feeling it’s going to be all one-goal games and overtime thrillers from here on between these two teams.
Milan Lucic was missing from the ice Saturday morning while likely taking his veteran option after skating for a bit on Friday. He appeared to be fine while walking through the B’s dressing room after practice.
Once again, Dennis Seidenberg and Corey Potter took part in the morning skate as well, but aren’t expected to take any contact on a game-day skate.
