*Paul Bissonnette is saying goodbye to the Phoenix Coyotes after a long run as their enforcer, and is now weighing his options for next season that may include going to Europe. Let’s hope that Bissonnette catches on with another NHL team because A) he’s a good guy and B) he’s one of the colorful personalities that the league could always use to help market the game.

*Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are both heartwarming exceptions in an age where so many athletes grab every last dollar from the table.

*PHT writer and FOH (Friend of Haggs) Mike Halford has a report from the agent for Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane that they could have commanded a salary as high as $13.8 million apiece if they wanted to get top dollar.
