*Elliotte Friedman goes on an entertaining search for NHL fancy stats pioneer and mystery man Vic Ferrari.

*Tim Panaccio says Michael Del Zotto signing with the Philadelphia Flyers gives the talented defenseman a big chance at the crossroads of his career.

*Apparently Ryan Lambert questioned my notion of Torey Krug and Jake Gardiner as comparables as the Causeway Crowd blog writes. I agree with Lambert. *PHT writer and FOH (Friend of Haggs) Joe Yerdon has Brooks Laich claiming that missing the playoffs might have been the best thing for the Washington Capitals.

*Would you pay Teemu Selanne $5 million just to play in the home games for next season? Teemu Forever indeed.
