*I don’t often agree with Habs Eyes on the Prize blog, but they’re dead on when they say playing Douglas Murray will essentially hand the series to the Bruins.

*New York Rangers star Marty St. Louis plays in Game 5 against the Pittsburgh Penguins one day after his mother’s death.

*PHT writer Ryan Dadoun says that Marian Gaborik is providing the Los Angeles Kings with a key missing element: pure scoring touch.

*Detroit Red Wings blood and guts guy Justin Abdelkader named the captain of the U.S. World Championship team.

*Adam Oates enjoyed his time coaching the Washington Capitals, and says that he wants to try it again at the NHL level.

*The Game 4 video montage opening of Bruins/Canadiens Hockey Night in Canada was pretty awesome, per usual.

*For something completely different: hoping this Grantland.com story can tell me why we’re seeing Monica Lewinsky in the news so much recently. I thought we had turned the page.
