*Former Bruins defenseman Mark Stuart has truly found a home in Winnipeg, and spend the summer there as he winds up for another season with the Jets.

*James O’Brien has Mike Cammalleri excited to join the New Jersey Devils, and possibly align with living legend Jaromir Jagr this season. I hope Cammalleri doesn’t mind never having the puck on his stick if that’s the case, but he’s more of a shooter so I’m sure that won’t be a problem.

*Sonny Milano has eschewed the Boston College hockey program for junior hockey, and a possible path preferred by the Columbus Blue Jackets.

*Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi is focusing on a bounce-back year that would be right on parallel with the team he’s playing for. It’s also necessary because two tough years in a row at Scuderi’s age can open the door to questions that no player wants to answer.

*The Winter Classic is still seeking a venue in the Washington D.C. area, though it appears that the Capitals and Chicago Blackhawks are the agreed upon opponents.

*FOH (Friend of Haggs) James Mirtle says that the Maple Leafs will be hiring another assistant general manager for their front office team.

*Henrik Lundqvist might just have made the smoothest, coolest, Ice Bucket Challenge video of all time, and has passed on the challenge to fellow Swede Loui Eriksson.

*For something completely different and probably only of interest to my mom: Stevie Nicks is asking her fans to design her a new shawl.
