All is right in Bruins-land as they head West this weekend riding a 10-game winning streak.

CSNNE.com Bruins insider Joe Haggerty, on Cross Check with Bob Neumeier, said the roll they're on lately might have a lot more to do with great goaltending than great defense.

"Right now Tuukka Rask is bailing them out during this winning streak," Haggerty said. "We've seen a lot of breakaways, a lot of odd-man rushes. There's been a lot of breakdowns by the defense and that's why I'm concerned about this defense going into the playoffs. Tuuka has six-game winning streak during this 10-game streak with a save percentage of about .950."

Neumeier asked which defenseman would be the odd man out "if Rask suddenly takes a step back because he's been playing all world".

"Tough to tell," said Haggerty. "It's going to be whoever's not playing well going into the playoffs."

His candidates? Matt Bartkowski or Dougie Hamilton.
