Dennis Seidenberg stepped up into the primary defenseman role with Zdeno Chara scratched from the game, and rifled home the game-winner with little more than eight minutes to go in the third period. The goal was Seidenbergs second of the preseason and continues an excellent month leading up to the start of the regular season for the German defenseman. After a slow start to last season, Seidenberg has left off exactly where he ended last year as one of Bostons playoff heroes.
